A Pakistani family of nine has made history by setting a Guinness World Record for the most family members born on the same day.
The Mangi family, from Larkana, Sindh, consists of Ameer Ali, his wife Khudeja, and their seven children: Sindhoo, Sasui, Sapna, Aamir, Ambar, Ammar, and Ahmar. All nine members of the family were born on August 1, between 1992 and 2004.
Ameer and Khudeja said they were surprised and delighted when their first child, Sindhoo, was born on August 1. They said they never planned for their children to be born on the same day, but they saw it as a “gift from God.”
“We are very happy to have set this record,” Ameer said. “It is a great honor for our family.”
The Mangi family’s record was officially recognized by Guinness World Records on July 10, 2019. They are now the proud holders of the record for “Most family members born on the same day.”
The Mangi family’s story is a reminder that even the most unlikely events can happen. And sometimes, those unlikely events can lead to something truly special.
